AANCL & Friends Walk to End Alzheimer's

The Aging and Neurocognition Lab and friends participated in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's in Champaign-Urbana. As always, it was an uplifting experience to see everyone supporting one another and to see how many people are committed to fighting Alzheimer's disease.

Postdoctoral Research Associates in Aging, Health, and Technology University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Applied Health Sciences Description: We are seeking two postdoctoral research associates with interests in aging, health, and technology.  These positions will be jointly advised by Dr. Wendy Rogers (Director of the Human Factors and Aging Laboratory) and Dr. Raksha Mudar (Director of the Aging and Neurocognition Laboratory. 2021 Walk To end Alzheimer's

This year, The Aging and Neurocognition Lab & friends were joined by members of the Human Factors and Aging Lab at the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Champaign-Urbana! We were one of the 72 teams walking to show support for the cause. There was a great turnout at the event (we practiced CDC guidelines for COVID) despite the rain! Collaboration with Dr. Wendy Rogers and OneClick.chat

The Aging and Neurocognition Lab is happy to announce a collaboration between Dr. Raksha Mudar, Dr. Wendy Rogers, and OneClick.chat! The team was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health. This grant will support a pilot study on the facilitators and barriers of using OneClick, a video chat platform, for older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment.
