Lydia successfully presented her First Year Project to the Neuroscience Program. The project was entitled "Alpha Power Changes in Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment in Go/NoGo Tasks Involving Semantic Categorization".

2021 Walk To end Alzheimer's

This year, The Aging and Neurocognition Lab & friends were joined by members of the Human Factors and Aging Lab at the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Champaign-Urbana! We were one of the 72 teams walking to show support for the cause. There was a great turnout at the event (we practiced CDC guidelines for COVID) despite the rain! Collaboration with Dr. Wendy Rogers and OneClick.chat

The Aging and Neurocognition Lab is happy to announce a collaboration between Dr. Raksha Mudar, Dr. Wendy Rogers, and OneClick.chat! The team was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health. This grant will support a pilot study on the facilitators and barriers of using OneClick, a video chat platform, for older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment.
