Two Open Post-Doc Positions!

Postdoctoral Research Associates in Aging, Health, and Technology University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Applied Health Sciences Description: We are seeking two postdoctoral research associates with interests in aging, health, and technology. These positions will be jointly advised by Dr. Wendy Rogers (Director of the Human Factors and Aging Laboratory) and Dr. Raksha Mudar (Director of the Aging and Neurocognition Laboratory. The positions are for one-year initially but are renewable for up to three years. The overall goal of our research is to support successful aging for older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment (MCI) through technologies. The behavioral focus areas are health self-management, social connectivity, cognitive engagement, and everyday activities in the home. Lydia awarded UIUC dissertation completion fellowship

Lydia has been awarded a UIUC Graduate College Dissertation Completion Fellowship. This fellowship is given based on the significance of the dissertation research and academic productivity and progress. 2021 Walk To end Alzheimer's

This year, The Aging and Neurocognition Lab & friends were joined by members of the Human Factors and Aging Lab at the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Champaign-Urbana! We were one of the 72 teams walking to show support for the cause. There was a great turnout at the event (we practiced CDC guidelines for COVID) despite the rain!
