Dr. Raksha Mudar (PI of AANCL), Dr. Wendy Rogers, and OneClick.chat co-founder and CEO Dillon Myers presented a poster entitled "Social Engagement Through Video Chat for Older Individuals With and Without Cognitive Impairment" at the Gerontological Society of America in Boston, MA. This poster is a result of the collaboration with Dr. Wendy Rogers and OneClick.chat. AANCL is looking forward to continuing this work with such brilliant and wonderful collaborators! Paper published on neural outcomes of cognitive training in aMCI

Dr. Raksha Mudar, Lydia Nguyen, and collaborators published a paper in Brain Research  entitled "Event-related neural oscillation changes following reasoning training in individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment". Click here for the paper. Congratulations to everyone for all of their hard work!

AANCL & Friends participate in Walk to End Alzheimer's

The Aging and Neurocognition Lab and other members from the Department of Speech and Hearing Science participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Champaign-Urbana! It was a huge success as always!

Lydia & Shraddha attend AAIC

Lydia and Shraddha attended the Alzheimer's Association International Conference in Chicago, IL. Lydia presented a poster entitled "Strategy-Based Cognitive Training Effects on Event-Related Neural Oscillations in Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment". Shraddha presented a poster entitled "Relationship Between Use of Inherent Memory Strategies and Memory Performance in Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment". Great job to both of them on their presentations!

Collaboration with Dr. Wendy Rogers and OneClick.chat

The Aging and Neurocognition Lab is happy to announce a collaboration between Dr. Raksha Mudar, Dr. Wendy Rogers, and OneClick.chat! The team was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health. This grant will support a pilot study on the facilitators and barriers of using OneClick, a video chat platform, for older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment.
